About Me
I founded Fortrove Partners to give founders and tech employees a fee-only, fiduciary financial advisor who actually understands equity compensation — someone who has read through the 409(A) valuations, option agreements, and RSU grant documents so you don’t have to.
Equity compensation planning is complicated. ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, 83(b) elections, AMT exposure — the terminology alone can make it difficult to even know what questions to ask. Everyday, I talk with people who feel overwhelmed trying to find a financial advisor they can trust with their stock options and vesting decisions. I built Fortrove so that navigating equity ownership feels less like a maze and more like a clear path forward.
Growing up working at my father’s auto dealership, I learned early what exceptional client service looks like — and I saw firsthand both the rewards and the challenges of building something of your own.
Before founding Fortrove, I deepened that foundation by investing in public and private equity markets. I hold a B.S. in Finance and International Business from Pennsylvania State University, and I completed the Harvard Business Analytics Program with Distinction — credentials I put to work every day helping clients in New York City make smarter decisions about their equity compensation.
When I’m not helping founders and employees build wealth through their stock ownership, you’ll find me on a tree-lined ski run or longboarding when it’s glassy and cloudy. I live in New York City with my wife, Linda.
